Van Drunen takes easy double win in Lelystad.
Lelystad/Gemert – Yamaha-star Marcel van Drunen took double victory during the third round of the KNMV Dutch Open Supermoto. The 38-year-old former Motocross rider won both motos and took over the series lead from Belgium Marc Fraikin. Peter van den Berk (2-2) took second this weekend in front of Belgium’s Thierry Godfroid (3-3).
The #1 Marcel van Drunen won the third round of the championship very easy.
Team Bulgaria Supermoto race this weekend in Lelystad.
#1 Van Drunen take the lead in front of #5 Van den Berk and #17 Godfroid.
Next event : Round four will be on the 6th June on the new circuit of Oldebroek/Wezep. Hopefully Fraikin is back for injury so he can battle with Van Drunen.
