MONDIAL MX3 EN ESPAGNE : LA VICTOIRE POUR BARRAGAN , LES ADIEUX POUR GARCIA VICO
ALHAMA DE MURCIA, Espagne, 25 Mai 2008 – Sixième Événement du Championnat du Monde MX3 qui a vu la Victoire de la star locale, Jonathan Barragan qui remporte les deux manches.
La manche fût remplie de surprises, toutefois sans mauvaises blessures à la clef. Le temps était couvert au début de la journée et de la bruine se mit à tomber en fin de journée. Le premier départ fût excitant. Carlos Campano Jimenez pris la tête de course. Javier Garcia Vico se plaçant juste derrière Lui. S’en suivit une excitante bagarre jusqu’à la fin de la course entre Barragan et Jimenez. À deux tours de la fin Barragan passe Jimenez après quelques tentatives.
À la troisième place on retrouve Christophe Martin.

Deux des meilleurs Pilotes de la saison Cristian Beggi & Sven Breugelmans ne sont pas dans le Top 3 cette fois. Beggi se crasha lors du warm-up avec quelques contusions à la clef. Quant à Breugelmans, il tomba Lui aussi et ne termina pas la première manche. Une meilleure seconde manche pour le Pilote KTM en finissant troisième et ne perdant ainsi pas trop de points.

CHRISTOPHE MARTIN : »Aujourd’hui je rentre mon premier Podium. Je suis très heureux de cette Victoire parce que je sais que j’ai rendu le Team Husqvarna heureux également. Mon premier départ fût meilleur que le second. Je suis toutefois satisfait de mes deux manches. Dans le Team il y a une bonne ambiance et aucune différence n’est faite entre moi et Allier. »
CARLOS JIMENEZ CAMPANO : »Ce terrain est l’un des meilleurs d’Espagne. Hier je me suis crashé en qualifications et ne savais pas comment cela serait aujourd’hui. Je suis très heureux de ma seconde place même si Barragan me passe à la fin de la première manche. »
JONATHAN BARRAGAN NEVADO : »Nous avons eu une grande bataille avec Jimenez Campano et c’était très excitant. Hier j’étais rapide aux qualifications mais aujourd’hui je ne me suis pas trouvé super bien. Au début, je n’avais pas assez de motivation, mais dans la deuxième partie de la première manche, cela allait mieux et j’ai gagné. J’aimerais remercier le Team JM Racing qui a très bien préparé la Moto d’Alvaro juste pour moi. »
