Course d’ouverture du Championnat du Monde Supermoto, Torino a donné le ton de ce que devrait être le millésime 2008 pour les as français de la glisse : une présence plus que significative, avec Thierry Van den Bosch et Thomas Chareyre aux avant-postes en S1 et son frère Adrien en S2…
Mais les français devront compter avec Hiemer, à égalité de points avec VDB, vainqueur de l’épreuve italienne et Davide Gozzini, également à égalité avec Adrien Chareyre mais vainqueur de son GP national pour avoir remporté la seconde manche devant le Français.
