MOTOCROSS MONDIAL – EXHIBITION EN CHINE : MATHIAS BELLINO & KHOUNSITH VONGSANA BRILLANTS
SUCCESS OF EUROPEAN RIDERS IN CHINA
Ce dimanche dans la ville de Siyanf dans la province chinoise de Jiang Su, s’est déroulé un Motocross International MX2 incluant la participation de Teams français, néo-zélandais, australien, Japonais, de Mongolie et bien sûr chinois !
On Sunday the 21st of September in Siyang, in the Chinese province of Jiang Su, an important international Motocross event (MX-2) was held with the participation of European riders, together with riders from New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Mongolia and, of course, China.
The Asian Motorcycle Union (UAM) asked UEM, in line with the co-operation spirit existing among Continental Unions, to send some riders from two European motorcycling federations.
The invite was accepted by France and Belgium (also Croatia and Israel answered positively) and their young representatives, who were welcomed in China with great enthusiasm, managed to show all their skills.
La première manche a été remportée par Mathias Bellino devant l’australien Lewis Woods et le néo-zélandais Michael Menchi !
The race was held in front of a huge public and with a temperature of around 40° degrees. In the first heat, victory went to French Mathias Bellino in front of Australian Lewis Woods and New Zealander Michael Menchi.
La deuxième manche fût également remportée par un Pilote français en la personne de Khounsith Vongsana devant Bellino et Lewis Woods !
Again a French victory in the second heat with Khounsith Vongsama. Second position to Mathias Bellino and third to Lewis Woods.

3 Michael Menchi (NZ) 38
4 Jeff Cloots (B) 34
5 Lai Chi Fung (HK) 29
7 Khounsith Vongsama (F) 25

French and Belgian riders well represented Europe and their great performances contributed to the success of the event, very well organised by the Chinese Motor Sports Association.
