AMA SUPERCROSS : OUVERTURE DE L’ARENACROSS – RÉSULTATS

AURORA, Ill. (January 4, 2008) – The Toyota AMA Arenacross Series rolled into the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI tonight for the first event of the New Year. In the AMA Toyota Arenacross class, Suzuki’s Robbie Reynard and Kawasaki’s Brock Sellards both won their qualifiers putting them in a favorable position in the main event. When the gate dropped Reynard found himself stuck in the gate with his team mate Cory Green lined up behind him.

Jim Neese grabbed the Toyota Certified Used Vehicle $250 Hole Shot award on his Foremost Insurance Suzuki. Neese went down while in second place on lap 3 dropping resulting in a 10th place finish.

It was Brock Sellard’s Babbitt’s/Monster Energy Kawasaki that dominated all 25 laps of the main event. Kevin Johnson got off to a good start running second thru lap 9 before having problems. TiLube Honda’s Teddy Maier and Babbitt’s/Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Kelly Smith finished second and third respectively.

Cory Green, Codi Adams and Shane Sewell made up the podium in the AMA Arenacross Lites North main event.
